I have a great childs tea set and would like to know what it is worth.Or even where to find a simmlar one to compare.
It has the stamp and ribbon if Jlemau, and "Carmen" under that. Each piece is stamped "347" then "28" under that.
It is a unique set, each piece has a different scene, yet the same couple and theme. It is in perfect condition.
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Here's the best Germany site for backstamps:
http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/ (http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/)
Select the area called Thuringia and scroll the towns to Ilmenau and you'll find several manufacturers each having its own mark.
Value could be $250 or more. Depends - age condition size of set etc - transfer ware or hand painted -
Run a google as - ilmenau tea set germany - it should bring up both full size and child size sets - and if you can determine exact mfg co use it along with the Ilmenau or try Jlmenau. It will be worth your time. KB
