Title: Royal Doulton Marjorie dinner ware

Hello,

I am looking for any information on the Royal Doulton " Marjorie" design dinner service. If you know anything about the history of the dinner service design i.e when it was made, who it was made for etc it would be very helpful.

any chance that it's actually a Royal Albert design?  They are part of the Royal Doulton group.  The pattern can be seen on www.replacements in the Royal Albert and is listed here:  www.edish.com also as a Royal Albert.  

I found several web references but nothing conclusive that could give you a date or value.
