I have always been curious about this item. I'm not even sure what it's called--- It hangs in my grandfather's house. I tried to research it, but the only thing I had to go by was the little plaque at the bottom which reads " 1850 White Cloud". I was able to find info on the particular ship, but not about who it was made by, what it is made with, or when it was made, or what it is called. It's not a painting, and it's not a model, but it's closer to a model because it was built. Forgive my ignorance. I know nothing about such things. And I apologize for the poor quality of picture.
I did not measure it, but it is apx. 4 ft across and 3 ft wide. That is just a guess. It is very large. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks :)

I'm sorry, I meant Flying Cloud. I don't know how to edit the subject line.

Hi - this isn't my area of expertise BUT - -
suggest you re-post to say Flying Cloud Clipper Ship - in other words, all over again. Perhaps it will bring it to attention of experts. And are you saying that the hanging is three dimensional? Sorry I can't help but I'll watch this and learn along with you. Best wishes KB
