Title: folding wall fan

does anybody know anything about folding wall fans?  i have one that i got as a gift.  it's hand painted and black and white of geese.  i can't find any information that would help me determine if it was worth keeping or not.

Geese...??.. I have often seen feather fans, and presume these are all from ostreich feathers as they seem to be similar. Geese have harder feather ends and would break very easily. What are the main prines made of?

no actual feathers  the geese are painted.    i think it's bamboo that is the  main part that you open up.  and some kind of canvas.  it was a gift from an ex and when he gave it to me he told me it was originally the presidents' of some island.  i dont' know wether he was being serious or not.
