Title: WH Grindley Pottery Pattern gri262
Post by: Annej on February 23, 2006, 12:58:59 AM
I recently purchased a set of 8 soupbowls and saucers marked "Creampetal, Grindley, England". Searching the internet I found  that the pattern is named gri262. What I would like to know is when this pattern was produced. 1930's perhaps?

I would be very grateful for an answer to this or a hint as to where (on the internet) I might find out. Thank you!

Best British site I have:

You may well have to send the Moderator, Steve Birks a photo of front, side, and especially backstamp.  My own research shows that one backstamp covered a *lot* of years.   Best wishes, KB

ps:  I don't know if there's a fee for Steve's personal research info - you might inquire in advance.             KB
