Title: marcasite jewelry

my parents gave me this set of marcasite jewelry about 15 years ago. All I know is it's sterling silver. It would be great to know some history on it. Thanks for any help.  I tried to upload a picture but and error message came up saying I couldn't use that type of file.
  It is just a regular jpeg file. what am I doing wrong?

look on the clasp  and on the back for initials or symbols, like an initial in a diamond shape etc.  I might be able to help.  I have a couple of good web sites in my "favorites" - KB
