WOULD ANYONE KNOW HOW I WOULD GO ABOUT PRICING AN ANTIQUE BALL AND CHAIN SHACKLE? IT HAS FT LEAVENWORTH KANSAS PRISON STAMPED ON THE TOP, WEIGHS ABOUT 15 LBS AND THE LOCKS ON BOTH ANKLE CUFFS WORK WITH A SCREW OUT KEY. IF ANYONE COULD HELP I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE THE INFORMATION. I COULD POST A PICTURE IF IT WOULD BE A HELP.

I have seen originals sell in the hundreds. I have reproductions that sell for less than $100. You will need to find out if yours are original (if you don't already know).........

You need to find someone in your area that can tell the difference between old and new. Perhaps an antique mall dealer, basically someone who you know and trust.
It's hard to describe to you the distinction between the two. Even those of us who are suppose to know can be fooled............. ...
