I was given a small piece of pottery of a young boy holding what looks like a paper or school books it also look like he may be whistling. He is in short pants and a beret It has the mark G H or H G on top of each other and a small amphasan for and Co inside this. I was given this as a present in Italy about 40 years ago. Can anyone help me identify the marks on the base and a number 9207 please

Yes, please post photos. One photo can speak volumes. When posting photos show different view plus the bottom marks, etc................ ..... 8)
You might have a Goebel Hummel figurine. He has been around a long time.

I haven't found this mark. the closest I can come to a guess would be Gater Hall & co.,Tunstall and Burslem, part of the UK and circa 1895-1943.........but this is only a guess :'(
