Title: chalkware bank
Post by: GBnevada on February 08, 2007, 02:17:05 PM

  Baby Bank-Chalkware-Slot in baby's back

There is no plug to remove change.

There is no markings on the bottom

             This Baby stands 14" tall

                    It is about 8" wide

I have no idea how old it is. I have had it over 20 years.

There is no cracks or chips in it.

There is a few spots where the paint has been scraped off.

Carnival chalkware from the carnivals of the 1940's-50's. Depending on rarity and condition, at auction they usually bring $15-$30, sometimes more. Yours looks like a nice one and a bare baby should make it more desirable.
