Title: Belgium Tapestry

Does anyone know how you tell the age of a Tapestry?  It it's marked on the back "Made in Belgium" in black ink stamp. Does that help with the dating?  Thank You

Not very good with textiles but The term 'Made in Germany' was invented by the British Parliament who passed the 'Merchandise Act' on August 23rd 1887 in order to protect the British market from German imports. The format of 'Made in xxx' was later copied by other countries.

so it is after 1887...........

Thank You.  Your information is interesting and a starting place for me to try and find the age of my tapestry.
