Title: What is this? all i know is that it is really old...

Could anybody tell anything about this box I have inherited... Where it comes from? How old? All I know is that it is old, I'm told very old.

oh yeah, i found out that my grandad did change the hinges and lock

at first look. I was thinking' chinese. but it's and import from india. about 1910. still carrying avalue of a couple hundred dollars.
