Title: Carved wooden Jewelry box

I have an ornately carved wooden "Jewelry" box.  On the underside of the lid it is carved Souvenir Sardinia 1944 with "44" upside down.  It was sent from my Uncle to my mom during WWII.  Is it rare?

not rare.but a nice box. $50.00 to $75.00 dollars.
