I got some silver spoons which apparently come from my great great grandmother. Its got the following on the back: EPNS.M.SHEFFIELD.EN G. What does it mean and how old do you think this is?

I think it is actually EPNS.A1.SHEFFIELD.E NG

:( epns. ( electro plated nickel silver ) meaning to say' not real silver. depending on condition. average value $ 5.00 or so depending on item.
