Title: Joseph Rogers Letter Opener
Post by: DeniseH on March 14, 2007, 09:59:35 AM
I have an old Joseph Rogers and Sons letter opener (at least I was told it was a letter opener). On the side of the blade it say "Rogers Cutlers For Her Majesty". Can anyone tell me when this piece dates back to?

I found out today it is a steel eraser NOT a letter opener. I am trying to find out anything I can about the piece. Unfortunately, all that my dad could tell me is that he found it in his uncles old roll top desk. Anything anyone could tell me would be greatly appriciated. I have a picture of the piece on my picture manager on ebay.
