Title: dinnerware marks

Do companys mark all pieces in a set of dishes?  I have some that seem to match pieces that are marked but not marked themselves, i.e. cups, saucers, sugarbowls, etc.

no they don't.it's also not uncommon for the company to sell the mold to another company. which in turn makes the same product.with out the trade mark.
