Title: green man rocking chair

I inherited an old rocking chair with a carving of The Green Man on the headrest.  I know absolutley nothing about antiques and almost nothing about The Green Man but this chair is very interesting.  It sits low and is quite heavy. It is not a dainty piece of furniture.  I can't find any marks or signatures but it was refinished sometime in the past so it is hard to tell.

hard to say' sight unseen the fact it's most likely oak& interesting. $350.00 dollars
