Post by: dturberville on May 16, 2007, 08:37:58 PM
I have a Taylor Smith Taylor GravyBoat with a stamp on the bottom with Taylor Smith Taylor USA with numbers 7455. It is cream color with the plate attached to it . It has red roses with blue flowers. I would like to know any information on it. It does not have a date that I can see.

    *  Location: Chester, West Virginia
    * Products: dinerware
    * Founder(s): John Smith, Charles Taylor, William Taylor, Joseph Lee
    * Dates of operation: 1899 - 1981 (Anchor Hocking owned TS&T from 1971 - 1981)
    * Reason for closure: It has been learned that Anchor Hocking purchased the old TS&T plant as a tax write-off and eventually closed. The plant still stands today but in serious disrepair.

A pic would really help!
