Title: Antique wooden Victorian Bed

I am in the middle of disposing of a late friend's belongings and came across this bed. I know nothing about antiques, so I am coming here asking for as much information as I can get. It does need some TLC but it is essentially in very sound condition.  I'd appreciate whatever help  you can give me with this.

Victorian, Walnut, circa 1880, Very attractive. At live auction, several hundred.
