So this item I believe is either brass or gold, I think it is some sort of teapot, I really have no idea how to list this item. I am desperately seeking advice on it's possible age and worth? Thank you so much.

Hi it appears to be a fairly modern tourist/import brass from either Turkey, India, Pakistan Morocco, Lebanon or Afghanistan.
More ceremonial then utilitarian it would of held either Karkade or sugared tea.

thanks so much for the response, something interesting I found was the word "JERUSAEEM" enscribed on the handle, any thoughts as to what language it could be? I have been told that it is not arabic.

The piece is traditional middle eastern brass ware.
While some Isreali may have made it, I really doubt it, Likely an Palestinian artisan.
Made for export, the word Jerusalem would be appropriate.
My guess just a poor arabic translation.
If there are other characters there, please photo and post as I may be able to decypher (Arabic)
