Title: 1843 Wax Portraits

I have 3 wax portraits of my ancestors, made in 1843 in Pforzhiem, Germany. The two adults measure approx. 10" x 9", and the child measures approx. 9" x 7".  Does anyone have any information on such wax portraits generally, and any idea how I go about determining their worth?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Unless you or your pictured ancestors are somehow famous or notorious, something like that would have real value only to your family.
