I have a typewriter stand, that was given me by my neighbor.he said he thinks its antique.
It is called a High-LO Typewriter stand, it was by the Metalstand Co.
and has a Pat Pend trademark Phila,Pa.
It has wheels that raise up so it sets on legs, and when you want to move it, push a lever and the wheels go down, the legs raise up ,so it can be pushed around.
I will try to add pic at the end of this.
Can anyone tell me anything about it,possible yr made and what its worth, I am thinking about having it refinished.

Not considered antique yet. These were popular in the 1950's. Metalstand is/was out of Philadelphia. Not too much value as of yet but give them some more time. I would clean it up with turpentine and give it a coat of oil. Would make a great plant stand.

:)Thank you for the info.
I am planning on keeping it, like I said was a gift to me from a 80 year old person.
It is all orginal even the wheels, and I just like the looks of it.
Its perfect to set my small Xmas tree on.
I know it has see better days, but it will stay with me for years to come.
