Title: Question about my Grandmother's Dishes
Post by: merrywings on November 28, 2007, 01:31:19 PM
Hi all!  I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.  Quite a few years ago, after my grandmother passed away, my mother received a set of dishes that had belonged to her.  She gave them to me about eight years ago.  They are made by "Hall's Superior" and I believe they are called the "Autumn Leaf" collection.  I realize this is a very common set, but I love it very much and would like to replace the pieces that are broken and find any other pieces that are missing. Does anyone know where I could find a list (pictures of the pieces would be a bonus) of the complete set of dishes?  Any help would be wonderful!  Thanks in advance for your help!

Marie

Thank you soooo much.  I've actually used that site before, for another set of dishes that I have, but had forgotten all about it.  That was a big help!!

Hall's, autumn leaf pattern owes a large part of it's success to the door-to-door salesmen of the Jewel Tea Company. A Goggle search of the same should bring up some history. Grandma might have been a good customer. 8)
