Title: Homer Laughlin china set
Post by: dangel on December 26, 2007, 02:15:47 PM
I'm trying to find some information on a set of china.  The markings on the back:  Manhattan Ware 22kt, Eggshell Georgian Homer Laughlin.  The face has pictures of a man and woman in 17th? century attire, very colorful and banded on the edges in gold.   I would appreciated any information.

manhattan being the pattern. georgian is the shape. typical of the 1950's. seldom carry a good value. maybe a dollar or two for a plate etc.

Thanks, D&B antiques.  I thought the "appraisal" of $100.00 a plate was grossly inflated.
