Title: Gibson Icebox

I have an old white three-door Gibson icebox with metal trim in decent condition but not restored.  It is Very heavy--several hundred pounds.
What is the construction that makes it so heavy?
What is it worth in the southern Michigan area--it would be very expensive to freight-ship.
