Title: What is this?
Post by: mmayer1369 on June 25, 2008, 09:02:42 AM
I am not interested in monetary value, just want to know what I have.
The figure is bronze, brass or gold horse, 5 inches high and long. There is a swastika
imprinted on the rump on both sides. There is another symbol associated with
ancient swastika on front shoulders, and various markings on its sides. Any thoughts
out there? Thanks, Mike

What appears to be a "swastika" in many cultures is a sign of good luck.  I believe some of the native American Indian tribes used it as well as the Hindu religion and others.  I'm no expert but I would guess your object is bronze and maybe Hindu in origin.
