I have a chair with an attached small table on the left. It is cherry or alder with some nice detail, the table has a small drawer and a storage area under it.
what are these kinds of vintage pieces called?
thanks

mc, back in the 50's and 60's they made what was called a "telephone stand/seat", so maybe that is what you have.

Thank you cogar... I should've posted the picture in the first place. Mine needs a little cleaning but thanks to your info I have found they are also called "gossip seats". I have spent hours on the computer trying to find a name for them. thanks again.
