Title: Victoria Pottery, Altrohlau Bohemia - Shed any light on these plates?

I have several of these plates - marked 'Victoria Pottery,Altrohlau Bohemia'. They are quite ununsual compared to the other plates I own - mostly because of the 'holes' around the edge. But are very pretty too.

I have looked everywhere to find these or even similar plates - and really would like to know when they may have been made, what they are supposed to be used for, and their value.

I welcome any ideas/comments/info!

there very nice sandwhich plates. they average.$ 5.00 dollars or so per plate.
