Title: Lamberton Sterling
Post by: sweetbelle on August 09, 2008, 08:38:38 AM
Good day to everyone!!  I really need some help identifying some china that belonged to my mother and up until now had been in storage.  I have searched and searched the internet to no avail.  I know Lamberton was sold to Sterling and that Sterling continued to used the pattern I have.  I found one site that had a fruit bowl exactly like my set for $16.00 and the pattern there was called "Lamberton Bird of Paradise".  I would like to know what time line am I looking at here?  The backstamp (I added a pic but it is not too good) says Lamberton Sterling...Made in the U.S.A.....O D-1
Is there any value in it?  I have a complete set (plates, saucers, bowls and even some pieces that I am really unsure what they are, big pieces).  I would appreciate any insight to this.  Thanks!

it would be a 1950's pattern. plates $8.00 to $10.00 dollars per plate. cup & saucer $5.00 dollars.
