Title: Need help identifying unusual marks on Royal Doulton C/S.
Post by: thewebace on August 15, 2008, 01:32:52 AM
Hi all.
I need help in identifying unusual marks on the bottom of a piece of Royal Doulton that I have. The design number is 11.23 and I have been told that it is art deco. Here is a picture:

The unususal marking is on the base. It reads, in very fancy writing, 'RM&TL'. Does anyone know what this marking means and if there is any information about it.

Many thanks,
thewebace.
