Title: D&b Antiques, do you think that this lamp is an antique?

I originally thought so when I purchased it because of how old the cord is. But I was told on another forum that it is in fact a modern base that has been combined with old parts. The base is made out of metal.

No I'am sorry to say'it's not and antique. but we might push it back to the 1970's.
