Title: Antique that i found in 1991 During the Iraq And Kuwait war!!

Hi every one,
iam new on the forum and i hope that iwill get all the help with you guys here!
(( i need to know if this Antique is real or what its stand for witch century and how much its cost ))here is some picture about it

I think that's an artifact that needs to be appraised by a specialist.  Obviously, if it's not a forgery, it's probably very old and possiblily quite valuable.  I could be wrong but I don't think anyone here is qualified to appraise objects of that kind of antiquity through some pictures.  I would assume a large university would have a department with qualified people that can tell you what you found or at least guide you in the right direction to individuals that can solve the mystery.

I would agree that no one here could authenticate something like this just by looking at the pictures. You would need an expert to look at the object in person to tell you if it's real or not.

If it were real it would probably be at least several thousand years old, and worth a lot of money. If it's a copy made in modern times it still has some value as a decorative object. It looks maybe Assyrian to me, and if so it came from the right place. Who knows?

It could be worth doing some real reasearch. Good luck!

I don't think it is authentic. Shows hardly any signs of age, not even 100 years let alone a 1000. Plus, I don't think a cup/vase/jar maker of ancient times would have used stone to depict such elaborate designs. Probably would have chosen a better material, such as a precious metal. Most likely a souvenir sold to tourists. Obviously bring it to a local antique dealer to find out for sure.
