Title: While not antiques but considered collectables, do American bronze
Post by: railman44 on October 25, 2008, 09:00:59 AM
sculptures of wildlife retain their value or even maybe increase?  I'm referring to signed and dated pieces from artists still alive.  One in question is from Peg Dettmers.  She gave these to everyone who helped her with the immense Kevin Costner Lakota project in South Dakota.  As I said, these were never put on the commercial market.

As you stated with the given provenance and the fact that they were 'not for sale' or made to sell to the public, I can only see them increasing in value.
