Title: Japanese fan..with hand stitcking

Now that I am looking through all the things that I have put off finding out about..here is another
It is a fan....some of the flowers are embroidered with what looks like fine silk..My mom used to have it in a big elaborate frame..it has been in our family for over 50 years..sent by a cousin who was stationed in Japane.  I also have some bronze mirrors that I hope to post later..

that's a nice fan & very close to occupied japan.$25.00 dollars

Thanks for info...too bad the embroidery is not showing up in my digital shot..
I have always wanted to use this fan...on a hot day...fans are so nice, but thought
it too fancy...Finding out all this info is allowing me to decide to use what I have
if I don't sell it...better than keeping it all hidden away!! :D
