Title: Rocker with face carving

just bought this, we think the carving looks rather scandanavian, any clues about this piece?

you have to love that face. it's none other than ole' man winter or better known as the face of the north wind. stomps burkhardt co.circ 1890 to 1928.

thanks, we arent antiquers, per say, but have found a few old pieces over time, nice to have a story or info to go with it....*smiles*

You bought your self a nice chair. some of there furniture is becomeing rare. & this chair appeared to be in pristine condition
