Hi all i picked this up yesterday and want to know a- what is it and b- is it collectable thanks terry

This is a sugar scuttle.  It is a scuttle shaped sugar bowl that is usually accompanied by a scoop...and the scoop for this one is apparently missing.  Search images on google and you will see many examples.  They are collected by many people but as for the particuar one you have...I hope that someone else can answer that one.  Best of luck!
