Title: Clossone box...(sp)

This has been around since I was a kid.  It has a few chips and wonder how old it is, and if it is valuable.  I assume it is clossone (my spelling is not good here)...any info??thanks, Carlotta

it look's to be brass or copper. it's not cloisonne.

I don't know much about cloissone...but I thought it was an inlaid built up on a base of copper...
