Title: Royal Bonn Germany Vase
Post by: TinMich on December 26, 2008, 10:25:51 AM
I've been eyeing this in an antique store for months and received it for Christmas.  It's 5" tall.  Price was marked down considerably and I'm hoping it was a good buy.  I did find a website with pottery marks that dates it between 1890-1920, but I cannot find a similar shape & design anywhere to get an idea of value.  Any info or links that explain the handwriting on the bottom would be appreciated also.

the vase was made between 1920 & 1931. at a good pottery auction it could realize $300.00 Dollars

Believe it would receive between $250 to $300+ at an auction as well!

Thank you both.  Not bad for a $50 purchase.  Do you know what the handwritten numbers mean?
