Title: Please help me identify backstamp on Antique Figurines
Post by: Inletgirl on January 08, 2009, 03:42:49 PM
Please help. I have 3 figurines that were my great grandmothers and I'm trying to find out who the manufacturer was. They are porcelin and are 6 in tall on white square bases with gold trim. On the back of the bases is a blue n with a crown on top. I've looked online, but have had no success in finding the manufacturer. The figures are of a man playing an string instument, a woman playing a fiddle or guitar, then a couple together-a woman holing a cup , and a man playing the violen. They look very similar to royal doulton. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

we can't say they are capodimonte. you need hand's on for that. but sight unseen. circa 1771 to 1834.
