Title: 22k gold dipped hand painted dish with engraved flowers-who made it? Identify?
Post by: Nholy1 on January 11, 2009, 10:05:16 PM
I am trying to find out who made this dish, an approximate time period, some history, and maybe even a rough value.  It appears to have been dipped in 22k gold on the front and had flowers engraved on the gold dipped surface.  There is a hand painted picture, as you can see, of a european couple maybe dating 16-1700s in the middle on the top? Not sure?  The bottom has a number stamped into the ceramic of 547 for the number manufactured I would guess and a crown makers mark as you can see in the picture.  Any information on this would be much appreciated.  Even an idea just from a Gold value would be atleast something.  Thank you.

It could be czechoslovakia or english.more likely english do too the fact it has hand painted written on it. which first appeared after 1935.
