Another inherited item. This "pin holder"? was on my grandmother's dresser. I wouln't normally post it but the Macy's sticker is very unique and I have searched all of my japanese marks and cannot find the maker. Sticker #1 "Expressly for Macy's with a peacock with plumes spread. (Funny because the porcelain box is made with handpainted peacocks in gold.) #2 Blue oval sticker with gold outline "Made in Japan". Hopefully you can read the mark. Identification and value would be fun! Thanks!
