Title: German shooting medal

Hello to all, am not an expert on antique objects but I like story and would like to know more about these objects and their past.
So am greatly interested with this German shooting medal and am wondering if it's a real one?

As East German militaria is dirt cheap its really not worth making fakes so I would guess original, If it were a WWII issued example the price would be considerably higher
