Title: Handcarved Woooden Plaques - German

My mother lived in Germany for many years in the 50's and was given these plaques. 

Any ideas on them?   (We like them because they are a part of home...just curious!) ::)

I forgot to add the sizes - 19"H x 7"H x 1" thick
