Title: A music box
Post by: unkannyvalley on March 04, 2009, 09:22:48 PM
This music box has a sticker on the bottom that says “Vo Luzarn uf Weggis zue” and a sticker on the side that says “Pilatus 2132 M.”  I am assuming this is some sort of Swiss product because Mount Pilatus is in Switzerland.  The box measures 2 inches high, 3 inches wide, and 4 inches long.  Thanks for your help.

Ran the phrase through the swiss translator and many other languages....doesn't translate!  They speak 4 languages in Switzerland...The four languages of Switzerland are all very different from one another: French in the west, Italian in the south, Swiss German in the north and east and the lesser-known Rumantsch.

I should have said the ''tune'' is german. the box is most likely swiss.

Totally agree...it is in the the "style" of Hummel...that was considerably less than a Hummel!  I couldn't get it to translate in German!  Oh well!!!!

Many music boxes have Swiss insides and German outsides!
