John Barley was first issued by Royal Doulton in 1934 your registration number indicates a date of 1938. value wise likely around $50.00 to $ 75.00 Dollars

As a rule. a toby jug does not come with a lid. I found and auction record listing john barley corn with lid. ( jam jar) sold for $ 48.00 Dollars.
