I have an antique desk that I cannot find information on. It has a small plate with Byron Typewriter Cabinet Co. That company was in business in Louisville, KY. It has a lift up top to reveal filing slots and a drop down document holder. Drop down front, 2 drawers on left and 1 drop down filing drawer. Ihave pictures. Wondering if anyone has info on this desk. Tx.

Interesting piece. A picture of the entire desk with nothing on or in the desk would have been nice to get a clearer picture of what's all involved. Do you know what kind of wood it's made from? Are the drawers dove-tailed? It, to me, would have been made for a commercial use which usually means it's made very well for lots of potential employee abuse. Can you provide a picture of the entire desk closed up. That would provide us with an idea of the potential of the piece being wanted for a piece of furniture as well as a desk.
