I just purchased a very old red metal wagon with solid metal wheels covered with rubber (talking to previous owner it is at least 80yrs. old). On the sides it says Dan Patch record mile 1.55. It is in great shape. Just wanting to know if anyone has any info about it and its value? Thanks

I suspect it's the work of. Dan patch Novelty co. working from 1912 to 1924. if we were to compare auction value's.depending on condition. you could be looking at a Thousand Dollars.
You might want to try Hake's Americana Auction. for a more confirmed value.

Dan Patch the World's Champion of Harness Racing always reminds me of tobacco, obviously because of all the tobacco tins, etc............or maybe because I used to smoke and still miss it......... 8)
