Title: Belt Buckle
Post by: wanda wallin on July 04, 2009, 04:05:43 AM
I found a belt buckle that has a palm on the front with some type of animal maybe a cow? The back has a C enclosed with a circle below it is Tree of Life followed by PHILA maybe made of pewter really dirty. If anyone knows anything about this I would love to know. I live in the middle of the area of the civil war near Lookout Mountain and North Georgia. Thanks Wanda

The C in a circle means it was Copyrighted so it is really not that old.

wanda - you might have what's known as 'trench art' beltbuckle .
need pics to see ...
The animal might be a camel , the buckle might be aluminum .
