Well, I have some information on one of my "pieces of mystery" (my chair), how about a second piece? I have a pair of tall Amberina vases , someone said they were Vaseline but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not sure what the proper name to call them is, as I have never collected glass, but I think they are really very beautiful and probably worth about $400? I think I would call them "tulip vases", is that correct?

"Hit them" with a black light & tell us what happens , lux.
Me & my darn uv light thing again ....

Okay, Ill give it a try :)

Nope, the vases don't glow, so not Vaseline! (Kind of doubted it since they aren't the least bit green or yellow). What else, they deffinitely look like Amberina, but I haven't seen any like them.

Cogar you are on a roll!

How did you manage finding that! Well, thanks! Almost an exact match, the base is a little different though. Only problem is when I click on the link, and then go to the vase, there's an error "page not found"! Oh well, I still bow to your superior surfing skills :)

As I use to say, .... I'd drather be lucky than good.
Finding that picture surprised me too. I just keyed in Amberina vase and clicked on Google Images and "ding", there it was.
