Title: Last Supper carving?
Post by: Keith on July 30, 2009, 06:41:33 AM
I did a little searching a while back and found a sculpture,or carving with this name but I could not find anything about.I would like to know what type of material it is made of,weather it is synthetic or natural, also if it is hand carved or not?

Just by looking at your images , I'd guess that your item is a cast resin type product .

There's a small 'nub' between J.C.'s feet , on the lower part of the scene (under the 'floor' , foreground) , that leads me to give this opinion .
It looks out of place with the straight line there , and would not exist on a carved item .
...or so I think !

Recanati is a small , quite historic town in Central-eastern Italy .

I tend to agree with regularjoe2.
