Hi,
I bought these US flag pins and wondered if anyone knew anything about them. I have looked on the internet and there doesn't seem to be anything out there about them. They are made of a flag print ribbon and made like a bow tie. They have a red head pin through them. The paper they came on is yellowed and says Made In Japan under every one of the flag pins. They look old!
Thanks for any help.

If you count the stars that should give some idea of how old they are.

Also use of the name "Japan" and not the earlier name "Nippon". Nippon is pre-1921, Japan is post-1921. (that's a good-to-know bit of info I learned on this forum!)

I don't think the number of stars is going to help.....this is just a pattern.....if I am counting right....there are too many.....Maybe this is from the new administration and we have acquired new states! :)

Ooh, perhaps Texas has been split KC! I believe at any time it can be divided into four separate states, right? I always found that kind of interesting. Well, I haven't checked the news this morning! :P
